Cheeses like Cheddar, Mozzarella, and Monterey Jack are not recommended for electric grating as they have a higher moisture content and a softer texture, which can cause them to stick to the grater’s blades. Recommended cheeses are hard cheeses such as Pecorino Romano, Parmesan, and Grana Padano.
This machine should be used for no more than 5 minutes at a time, followed by a 5 minute break between uses.
