Yes, some cheeses are not well-suited for electric graters due to their moisture content or soft texture. Cheeses like Cheddar, Mozzarella, and Monterey Jack are not recommended for electric grating as they have a higher moisture content and a softer texture, which can cause them to stick to the grater’s blades. This machine should be used for no more than 5 minutes at a time, followed by a 5 minute break between uses.
